They weren't insulting the guy because he's new, they insulted him because he made a thread. That's no reason to be incredibly mean to some one. I don't know the guy personally, so I can't really say if this affected him or not, but I do believe that you show just a little common curtousy. I mean, we're not savages right? Can't we display our opinions without insulting somebody?

Here on the hype we don't insult people because of their race or sexual orientation. We insult them because they're dumb sons of *****es.

I can understand if somebody said something incredibly stupid and you said "Wow. That was incredibly stupid." But if somebody makes a thread, you shouldn't gang up on him and make him feel like $hit. if some one entirely new to Hype came on and made a post that we had all seen 165,439,595,948,393,684,484,383,383,484,573 times before, he wouldn't know that. So when everyone jumps on his ass about it, he feels angry and insulted and he leaves. If we started doing this to EVERYONE, we wouldn't have any new people on the Hype.
