Pop up ads

Hey there Hype team,

I've noticed the past while that every time I refresh a page or go to a new page on the site, ads automatically pop up, covering the screen and forcing me to wait until its loaded before I can click on the 'x' to remove it.

I can understand a pop up ad on the homepage, and indeed on category or main menu forum pages, but on every single page is ridiculous.

Guys, please get rid of these things (or at least limit the frequency with which they pop up) - I understand you need to generate revenue, but these things are a nuisance, spoiling the interactivity of what used to be a website I enjoyed visiting. Recently, rather than have to wait on these ads, I've taken to just getting my information from other elsewhere.

Surely I'm not the only one experiencing this...?

Will do ComicChick, cheers for the response. Interestingly enough - almost as soon as I posted previousl, they stopped appearing!

If it assists, it was the 'Evangelion' ad and the 'Season of the Witch' one.
