If you let a unifying Syrian take the job then it will pose no fundamental problem. The Syrian way is the way to go, peace in parts of the world achieved by their grace and huptiness. Yes put in someone of a different creed and even religion that way you can unionize and bridge the religions, make it a theological business merger. Not really. The Catholic hierarchy that reigns over every God fearing Catholic is a bloated monolith of bigotry and anti intellectualism (not to mention child predator harborers)...no offense to anyone in particular. Colbert had on a Catholic last night that said the pope is pointless...I agree. I do not understand how Catholics view a man elected leader to be the phone between God and Earth. It makes no sense. The pope is a religious Rockstar and pretty sure Jesus didnt have a guy wearing a pointy hat telling the poor what they should be doing to earn salvation.It's just all a power system designed to oppress free will. For God's sake they were against condoms in Africa. Again, no offense.

None taken, I'm not religious. And I thought it was about Catholics in general. Yes, I agree, there is very few, perhaps no, liberal religious leaders.
