Possible HML5 lineup

i think there doing a good job now. a lil shakey at the begining with a few figs *coughemmacough* but they have worked out the kinks...mostly anyway.

and is it me, or are they realesing there lines really quickly? i wouldnt really know cos i didnt collect before hasbro were just about to take over.( i think anyway lol)

i dont think there doing an amazing job.. and ok job, slowly getting better is more like it... i personally think toybiz could have donel oads better with the spidey and fantastic four legends...

pretty good compared to hasbros wave 1 and 2

toybiz would have given them all ab joints instead of cut joints, better ankle joints (side to side) and wrist articulation and waist articulation

dont get me wrong, doom is awesome
but i bet toybiz could have done better with the articulation

i think the fantastic four wave is pretty damn good tbh.

it's a good line up... we have a good doom, a namor that people have been wanting, a good silver surfer, and a fan wanted moleman.... that aside ... the fantastic 4 themselves blow, sorry but i've seen them with my own eyes, there nothing compared to any of the FF figs toybiz put out... and it's mostly due to the lack of a paint job... hell even moleman and doom need a wash...

and paint jobs... and plastic used. i cant comment on sculpt, because we've seen many hasbro legends in prototyped form and they look amazing... its once the official plastic and paint is applyied that they head south

and venom doesnt even have the friggin spider on his chest that he wears in the movie

ToyBiz did the scultps and stuff on Wave one......and I think some of wave two....

Hasbro did the making of them and the paint...and the Hasblow joints.....

from what I recall Wave three is the first wave that's all thiers....though I guess these f4 and Sm3 waves came first.......

Anyway yeah....Hasbro needs to change thier paint style and fix the joints....

But yes....Hasbro also does put figs out faster......that's just due to the number of staff and thier resources....and also I think they spend a little less time.....But I am still impresses (mostly) with what they are doing.......

So from the way I see it...Hasbro = Fater turnaround meaning more figs per year....that's a plus.....better distribution.....Me silly Canadian get me figs sooner....that's a plus...for me.......plus because they are larger and faster and stuff they can take bigger and more risks with characters, letting us get the likes of Tigra

So I am still in favor of this Hasbro deal........but then again...I hold these new LCBH figs in my hand and I do wish TB was still doing the legends....but When did the first wave of ML come out? Late 2000? 2001? We'll say 2001...in 6 years we only got 16 waves.......Hasbro hasn't even had stuff one year and we've gotten 5 full waves with a 6th coming.....keep that up and once they've been at it as long as TB was and we'll have had 36 waves.

rough there not taking more risks persay... like i've said before, toybiz got most of the heavy hitters out of the way, and they took even bigger risks imo... monsters box set? X-23? young avengers? to say hasbro is taking more risks i think is pretty stupid, there just continuing what toybiz left them with. if they didn't it'd be nothing but redo's and the take over would have failed.

to me more waves can honestly be a bad thing too... esp with the rise in price.. my wallets bleeding for lesser quality figs. thats what hurts the most

Yeah...TB took risks too.....hmmm.....

My wallet's bleeding less.....Prices are coming down a little.....and Comics now are cheaper then ever....my Comic shop switched over to American Prices last week.....

comics are up here... use to be 2.30... with special events being 3.00... now there all 3

Yeah well....Here they're 4.25 to 5.75......

seriously....Dropping to 2.25 to 3.50.....that is ****ing heaven to me.

Take the Annihilation Book 2 TPB I bought today.....$24.99 UD $40.00 CAN.....Now Aint that some bull****.

Luckily I got it for the USD price......but **** sakes $15 difference? The Canadian Dollar has never been that low.

I know.....for the first time in like.....20 years the Canadian Dollar is up.....at the end of the day i think it was something like $1.06 US = $1.00 CAN

I shoulda went to Vegas now instead of Sept.

hey rough, my displays are almost complete, all my big ones are done... i just have a bunch of spideys, king thor and thor buster IM, YA, first apperances, HofM, and some random misc people left....

....Uh...Yay?

I can't wait to see the pics....well I can wait......but I am anxious to see them....Horray for pictures

ya, i think i sorta out did myself this time.... i must say.... i think ull be most pleased

pretty sure SMC was in 2001 with ML in 2002

Yeah....I'm thinking so too......I was thinking back to when i bought them...and I first found SMC when I was in Edmonton...and I moved here in Nov 2000.....so yeah...they musta been 2001.

Okay...so let me redo my calculation......30 waves.

I said right now TB and Hasbro are tied.

Actually TB also did crappy figs like Ult. Wolvie and Emma.....
Count Cage, The Witch, Ultron, Mandarin...And I wont keep up.

So, Hasbro has given me long awaited characters, so Im happy, and still hunting for as much Hydra guys as I can!!!

No. I work for AT&T. *sight*

And yes I actually like Hasbro's figs, new characters, distribution and accesability!

Ok...take aside the SM3 series, Ult. Wolvie and I'm ok with them!

I like Hasbro too....I would prefer TB....but i like Hasbro
