Possible Team - The Renegades

I think that it will be Korg who stays, since he has connections to humans.

I think by the end of the whole WWH thing, at least one of the Warbound will remain on Earth to become a hero or so. I'm gueesing its either Miek, Elloe or that Shadow Priest guy depending on the popularities of the characters.
I hope Hiroim and Korg hang around. I still think Miek and Brood blew the shuttle up.

Korg does seem noble enough but noble usually equals dead. I don't think Miek would engineer the near-extinction of his own people.

I do. His people were already extinct; their only surviving queen was killed by the Spikes. What does it matter if he speeds the process up in order to keep the Hulk from getting happy and complacent? Remember, he's taken the Hulk's words--"never stop making them pay"--to heart.

Maybe not Miek, maybe the other bug-guy who's one the Worldbreaker crusade. The one who stabbed a hiveling in the last ish. Miek believes in the primal fury of the Hulk but also what the Hulk stands for: hope for Sakaar.

Maybe early on, but I don't think that's the case anymore. Miek is just a ball of anger over pretty much everything he cared about being destroyed. I doubt Sakaar meant much to him by the end of PH, given that his people had no future there or anywhere else.

Well that remains to be seen. I must say, Greg Pak really does know how to put together an organic team of sorts. I mean with the exception of Elloe and Brood, the rest of the Warbound are pretty cool.

I'd be down to see Hercules, Angel, Namora and Cho continue acting as a team. The combination of Angel and Herc in particluar has always been a great pairing, in my opinion.

Smecks of the Champions? How is that ever a good thing?

The only good thing to ever come out of the Champions was Darkstar. Now she's dead.

Having Black Widow, Iceman, Angel and Hercules on a team is classic Marvel. I'd kill for that concept to return again.

Just not in California? You're forgetting Ghost Rider.

I love teams made up of seemingly random characters. I never read the Champions series, but I think I would've liked them. Maybe I'll track down some back-issues.

But the fact of the matter is that the Champions were a pretty slapdash group, much like the Defenders but little to no chemistry. THough when you think about it, the group had more than 5 members with Black Widow's friend "Ivan" showing up for the first 7 issues or so. Whatever happend to that guy anyways?

Having the new Scorpion in the group sounds reasonable. She hasn't been used much.

Yeah, I like the new Scorpion. What is it about those Amazing Fantasy creations that makes the Hulk some kind of magnet for them? The new Scorpion, the new Death's Head, and the new Mastermind Excello have all been featured in Hulk stories.

Based on what you said yesterday about loving the Power Pack/X-Men/Thor mashup of Mutant Massacre, I think you'd dig the old Champions series. It was awesomely good. Power levels were accurate and no one was written out of character. Plus, the artwork by Don Heck was awesome.

Ooh, they've got trades, too. I'll have to search for those at my shop next week.

If you prefer actual issues, I think they're pretty easy to come by if you've got a shop with a decent back issue selection.

Funk? Nah. Krunk. And Herc will assume a Lil' Herc role.

Do they rally around their family, with a pocket full of shells?
