BvS Post iconic/memorable scenes you would like to see adapted for Batman vs. Superman

I hated Superman's characterization in that movie. They made him into a cocky, pretentious jerk who feels like the world revolves around him (and Wonder Woman into a naive broad who's smitten by the alpha male). Not the Superman I know.

Why would you automatically assume it would have to be literally adapted from those pages?

It could easily be a scene with Lois or Ma Kent helping him perfect some of the weaknesses in his disguise.

Have some imagination.

The reason I assumed you would want it adapted from those pages is because that is what the thread is for. It asks what you'd like adapted, you posted those pages.

And changing the scene that much results in changing why it is iconic and memorable, as well as the context of the scene.

Adapting something doesn't automatically mean a literal adaptation. That's why you hear people differentiate between what they consider a "faithful adapation" and a "not so faithful adaptation".

It can still be as iconic and memorable as it was on that page IMO.

But it would be an entirely different context with different content.

You've turned the scene of Clark who is not yet Superman, deciding Clark Kent will be the "mask" and how he creates it- to a scene where he's already all those things. I suppose it would work if Clark Kent isn't "done" yet.

The iconography is gone.

Was just made aware of this trailer. Wow, so perfectly executed, so powerful!

I agree they shouldn't do another origin for the Batman solo movie. Everyone knows its by now and it's still so fresh in everyone's mind from Batman Begins. The film should adopt flashbacks ala the Arkham Origins trailer, like above. So much is communicated in so little time.
