BvS Post iconic/memorable scenes you would like to see adapted for Batman vs. Superman

That is from Prey, I believe. Excellent story.

I'm pretty confident that Snyder's love of the comics, particularly TDKR, guarantees that he will fit "The one man who beat you" quote into the film. It's an iconic quote in comic books, and I seriously doubt Snyder will pass up the chance to use it.

I don't know......

They aren't as prominent in the proper version

Yeah, I'd be shocked if he doesn't pull that shot off in the film. Especially with Fong back under his wing (cinematographer of 300 and Watchmen - two films that look like they flew off the pages of the books), Snyder's not going to pull any punches with these iconic images.

He was promoting MOS - not BvS. Plus, the film is called Batman v Superman. They will have a physical encounter together, and this film wouldn't even be relevant if they didn't find a way for the two characters to balance each other out physically. Above all, if this is truly a sequel to MOS and Superman is the protagonist, it's necessary for the film to raise as many stakes against the main character as possible - which means establishing Batman as a major threat to Superman's objectives and well-being. What's the best way to do that? By having Batman somehow "beat" Superman in an encounter. Of course since they are promoting both characters, Superman will defeat Batman in some way before they ally against a common enemy.

Also, just for a sheer surprise factor and to keep audiences interested, it's best to play on their expectations that Superman can defeat a human being only to have the rug sweeped from under them when the opposite happens. It would help build some suspense.

I hope he doesn't. I'd prefer TDKR influences to be kept to certain images (like what batfan just posted) ONLY. Anything more will make me :whatever:.

And that doesn't mean I don't think batman can or should be a threat to superman. I just don't want it done like TDKR.

I hope not, I hate that scene/quote from TDKR.

I finally got to watch Justice League war yesterday. I really liked the scene where Green Lantern and Batman are confronting Superman for the first time in Metropolis and Batman stops Superman cold in his tracks by mention his real name.

Superman then does a quick X-ray of under Batman's cowl to figure out his identity.

I'd love to see something like this in BvS: Dawn of Justice!

A Superman fan shouldn't like TDKR it does him no justice at all.

Fair enough :)

I would like to see a fight like the one in "Justice League: The New Frontier Special"

I'd like to see that iconic scene where Superman is getting his ass kicked, and then the villain threatens someone he really cares about, Supes gets pissed, finds his second wind and then punches the villain off the planet, and saves the day........so pretty much any typical Superman story.

Hey, it's derivative and repetitive, but boy it works every time. So bring on some of that !

So what I'm saying is, don't mess with fan expectations too much, and it will be
smooth sailing, box office billions ka-ching and we all go home happy.

I'm easily satisfied, and proud of it.

With Snyder's keen eyes and knack for elegantly bringing panels to the big screen, I undoubtedly think we'll end up seeing that in the film. It'd be great if that shot was the first time we Batman in the film.

Inspired by this i wanted to ask for gratifying shots of Superman just enjoying himself with his powers. We all have wished to be able to fly at one point or another, and Superman has that. We got that with that scene where he started flying, but it was so brief and the camera work so shaky that i didnt enjoy it.

As far as comics go, Grant Morrison GETS that. Here's Superman, just chilling on the clouds, or playing with his dog on the moon. I want to see that, i want to see him smiling and enjoying himself.

I think that a cool way to go is the idea that Bruce knows he has no physical chance, so he doesn't even try that. They clash in a more ideological sense.

It is just forcing it to have Batman be a physical equal. It also makes Superman look more like a big boyscout to the general audience. To be beaten by a guy in a suit.

Not iconic, and maybe not for this film, but in a future film, I'd love something like this:

Except replace Diana with Lois. Or have all of them have a key. Party at Supe's place!

I agree. I'm not against them showing the sad/difficult parts of his life, but I'd like it to be contrasted with happy moments like this.

Also, I'd like them to show the "everyday" things that superman does.

What superman (and other heroes) choose to do on as daily basis is difficult, joyful and moving.

Something like this might be controversial, but realistically, superman would deal with similar situations. It shows that he cares for humans both en mass and as individuals. No one is just a number to him.

That would be a powerful scene.

I really like the anger in Superman' s face there. If a situation like this is used in film, I'd love if Supes resolved it without his powers, that'd be great to see

I would like to see a Gotham scene with rain and lightning. Really moody visuals. Batman Begins touched on this with the Narrows, but I think Snyder could elevate the vibe. No Batman movie has captured the dark, stormy night which most reflects Batman's personality.

Agreed, and that might be why Begins is a lot of fans' (including this one's) favorite Batfilm to date. If Snyder can evoke those visuals (and he's proven he can) I'm in

I'm not sure if everyone would like something like that (it's pretty serious and not much in terms of "light-hearted fun"), but I think it'd be great.

It could also make for some good drama with antagonists like Luthor. To most people, superman is doing a good thing here. He's standing up for someone who can't stand up for himself. From another perspective, superman is interfering with the innermost aspects of peoples' lives in ways that even law enforcers aren't always privy to. By doing things like this, superman is making a powerful statement and some might not take kindly to him admonishing wrong-doers in a manner that supersedes human law.

On the less dire end of things, I just love seeing superman interact with kids. Obviously people of all ages can appreciate being rescued by him, but can you imagine how a child might feel after being rescued by (or even just meeting) a flying strongman in a cape? He'd be magical and awe-inspiring to them. And vice versa. Superman would surely appreciate child-like wonder and optimism.
