Power Rangers film reboot...

I wants it. I want it taken care of by someone who respects the series, and also could bring a new feel to it. I also want it to be about the original characters: Billy, Jason, Tommy, Trini, Zach, Kimberly.

IMO, if done right, it could be the next Iron Man.... Okay maybe not that big, but I think it could be great.

No. He's quite right. If you think about the Power Rangers. They are teenagers with distinct personalities. They also happen to be superheroes. Throw in some moments of maturity and you'd have an interesting science fiction piece.

Tommy shouldn't have long hair in a reboot. I never understood why Kimberly was with him, when she was clearly meant to be with Jason looks wise. Tommy looked like the dirty scummy unwashed guy who got lucky that he was with the hot cheerleader.

Set it up for a sequel. I'd have the original 5, and Tommy as a supporting character, build up his friendships with them before the inevitable turn to evil as the Green Ranger.
