BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO x 1000000000000000 at True Blood being completely shut out. That freakin' blows!!

Why does House keep getting nominated?!?! The show has been awful awful awful that past couple of seasons, so overrated.

DWTS & American Idol nominated, but no Survivor which has been consistently great the past three seasons?!?! BS!

I really don't like seeing Family Guy up there for "Best Comedy Series"...but I love how Conchords is making a splash!

Ouch, 24 got snubbed as did Jeremy Piven. 24 deserved a few nominations. Coming off a great season following the mediocre sixth season, it deserved a best series nod. Sutherland deserved at least a nomination as his performance, especially in the latter half was very subdued and well executed. He deserved more than a made for TV movie blow off nomination. Also, Carlos Bernard deserved best supporting for his amazing turn as a villain. Jon Voight for best guest actor too.

Also, what is with some of these nominations? Sarah Silverman? Family Guy? Its like they are trying to be trendy. Then there are the ones they usually nominate out of habit that didn't deserve it. Cryer and Sheen for example. They snub Piven who has won for the past 3 years and whose performance hasn't changed in the least but those two get it? Oh well, at least Kevin Dillion has a chance this year.

Also, where is the love for USA shows? Maybe instead of Family Guy up for best comedy it should be Burn Notice. Maybe instead of Cryer, Bruce Campbell. Instead of Shaloub, whose Monk is way past its prime and he is entirely phoning it in, it could've been James Roday.

They really dropped the ball this year.

Why does House keep getting nominated?!?! The show has been awful awful awful that past couple of seasons, so overrated.

DWTS & American Idol nominated, but no Survivor which has been consistently great the past three seasons?!?! BS!

I put the winners in bold, now there is no reason for any of you to watch

Damn no Piven....Surprised True Blood got no love either.

Yea, I'm just shocked that True Blood didn't get one single nomination in ANY major catagory. Like, seriously?!

And the supporting actress in a Drama series catagory is just pathetic.

Same reason Buffy never received any recognition, or BSG for that matter. Anything to "genre" gets snubbed.

BSG deserved a nomination or two, but I'm so ****ing happy LOST got nominated that I'm dancing on the damn ceiling! :D:up:

But Family Guy getting nominated for best comedy is the dumbest thing I've heard all year.... what about Scrubs?! :cmad:

Michael Emerson for best supporting actor in a drama.

Funny you should mention that, since Seth McFarlane apparently hates Scrubs :funny: .

But meh to the FG nomination. It's not very funny now to deserve the nom.

Wait, The Simpsons never got the nom for best animated series!? What kind of injustice is this :cmad: !?

Happy about Parsons, Lost, and NPH for getting nominated. I really want Dexter to win best drama but I think Mad Men will get it.

Funny you should mention that, since Seth McFarlane apparently hates Scrubs :funny: .

He gets to have an opinion once he actually writes something funny.

Dexter and House,Hugh and Michael.C.Hall....My 2 favorite shows and my 2 favorite tv characters.

Hopefully Hugh will finally get it this year.

Funny you should mention that, since Seth McFarlane apparently hates Scrubs :funny: .
I'm not going to say he doesn't hate Scrubs because he probably does (can't say I blame him) but the Scrubs jokes also have something to do with writers Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan both have worked on Family Guy and Scrubs. It's an inside joke, Bill Lawrence has said him and Seth are friends.

cranston should win best actor and breaking bad should win best drama. aaron paul was a nice surprise.

It makes sense that Seth McFarlane wouldn't like Scrubs, they're random jokes usually make sense to what's going on in the episode.

Sucks that BSG, The Shield and It's Always Sunny were completely snubbed

That's two seasons in a row for 24 since their Best Drama win that they weren't nominated in Best Drama. First year Kiefer Sutherland wasn't nominated for Best Actor, does get one for 24:Redemption. There could be an argument made for Kiefer and Bernard but this year I'm pretty neutral on how I feel. It was better than season six, they only submit a handful of episodes but it was still 24's weakest season.

Cherry Jones did get a supporting nod as the President.

Happy about Parsons, Lost, and NPH for getting nominated. I really want Dexter to win best drama but I think Mad Men will get it.

Mad Men's second season was even better than their first (which won) so I would be surprised if Dexter or Breaking Bad won for Best Drama.

Cranston was a surprise win last year, a lock this year. No character can touch Walter White and what happened during the season.

Really shocked The Shield couldn't muster anything even with expanding the nominations to six. That's the big snub this year. The Big Bang Theory should've had HIMYM's Best Comedy nod, had much more laughs. And no love for It's Always Sunny. Whatever, as long as you enjoy the shows that's all that matters.

Anyway looking forward to NPH hosting this year.

BSG and True Blood both have been nominated.

Outstanding Directing For A Drama Series
Battlestar Galactica · Daybreak (Part 2) · Syfy · Michael Rymer

Right there it is not a major category I guess but its something

I put the winners in bold, now there is no reason for any of you to watch

Sorry buddy but I gotta call you out on this. How could you put Shatner before Emerson for Supporting Actor? Thats just heresy I say HERESY!!!!

I didn't pick the winners myself. I picked who they are going to pick. Take it to the bank

Where is Chuck....adn Matt reminds me of where the hell is Burn Notice and Psych. Damn you tv awards! :cmad:

Gotcha Wiseman. Seriously though if Toni Collette doesnt win its an absolute travesty. Her performance in USOT (especially the season finale) was absolutely outstanding,

The Big Bang Theory should've had HIMYM's Best Comedy nod, had much more laughs.

No way, How I Met Your Mother is much, much better than Big Bang Theory. Big Bang is pretty much a one trick pony. Mother has a lot more going on. If Big Bang did get a nom it should've been Family Guy's or Entourage's, not Mother's.
