Problem with divx web playback

Hey,

When I try to play Divx files from a site like icefilm.com for example (so using the web player) it keeps getting sort of 'stuck'. So the video freezes and the audio keeps repeating a second's worth of sound over and over again until it unfreezes (sometimes these can last up to 20 seconds).

I have checked all my codecs using a program called Gspot (I think that's what it was called!) and I'm pretty sure they are all working fine. But I have uninstalled and reinstalled my codecs.

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem or know how to fix it?

could it just be that site? if you aren't experiencing problems elsewhere, maybe its just that site

It's with all DivX files unfortunately. It's maddening :S

Firefox 3.0.14 and Vista Home Premium

Have you tried updating to the newest version of Firefox? 3.5.4

Yep, I have the latest version. The problem persists...
