problem with my ipod video

I have a 30gig Ipod video , and everything was fine until this weekend when the screen when all funny ( blocks ,test patern) I mean it plays music fine , but I cant change the songs , this happens within one minute of switching it on. The last ting I did was try to update it.

Have you tried resetting it? Instructions on resetting.

Ive tried that plenty of times , and still nothing.

Try reloading the latest firmware.

Give this link a try. Should walk you through it. The Reinstall and Restore options are the two things to try.
