When I turn my VCR/DVD Recorder on it immediately turns itself back off. The dvd recorder part was working fine but the damaged vcr part is causing a short in the player that keeps turning it back off. The vcr shows a vhs as being in the player when there isn't one in it & this is what is causing my problem. Is there a simple way that I can fix this, is there a way to disable the vcr part so that I can hopefully continue to use the dvd recorder part of the player?
