Hey all. This problem has been going on on my computer for a few months now, and it's driving me crazy.

For some reason, after my computer has been on for a little bit (really not long at all) the video on any non-Quicktime video I try to play will not work.

For me to get it to work again, I have to completely restart my computer. Then after a little while, it'll stop working again. Wash, Rinse, Repeat.

I don't think it's something with my Windows Media Player, because the videos don't work on my Divx player or anything else either. But Quicktime never goes out on me.

Anyone know what the problem could be? It'd be really nice to not have to reboot my computer whenever I feel like watching a game trailer, music video, etc

I dont understand the question...can you rephrase it?

Sure thing.

Simply put...my computer stops showing the video of any video file that is not Quicktime after my computer has been on for a certain amount of time. Sound still works fine. Just the video doesn't work, as if I don't have the right codec or something.

As soon as I reboot my computer, everything's fine again for a little bit, but soon goes out again.

It's not only Windows Media player that has this problem, it's any and every player I have.

Again, Quicktime is not affected at all.

That any clearer?
