HELP: How do I play/burn a downloaded movie?

I downloaded a movie from Limewire, but when I try to play it through Quicktime I'm told that I need to download a new component for Quicktime. I was then directed to download a program called XviD Component Binary, and I did, but nothing has changed. I still can't play it through Quicktime.

The other problem I have is when I try to play it through Windows Media Player. The audio works perfectly for the whole movie, but there is no video playing.

What should I do to fix this problem, watch the movie, and eventually burn it? I need help ASAP. This is the first movie I've ever downloaded so I'm new to this whole thing. My computer is a Windows Vista, if that helps.

Okay, that worked and I can now play the movie through Windows Media Player, but that player won't allow me to burn it. Any suggestions or programs that would help??? Thanks.

Not really because my dvd players can play dvix videos so i can fit about 10 films on one disk so im no help there

Download this codec pack or download VLC media player.

Also ditch limewire, check out bittorrent.

Just a side note... make sure you DL Limewire Pro for extra fast download time... just search it under program files... totally free... makes your illegal downloading experiences all the more enjoyable...t:

Limewire sucks. But if your just determined to use the Gnutella network check out the open source clone of Limewire called Frostwire.
