Professor Xavier's offical voice over for X-Men: The Last Stand that did not appear in the film, but they do have it as a deleted scene on the DVD. While it may not have made a major difference in terms of the film, but I would have loved if they kept it in the movie.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand:

Mutants…and Humans.
They have long struggled to co-exist.
While some try to unite the world, others try to dominate it.
Neither strategy has prevailed.
But when conflicts reach an impasse,
inevitably something happens to shift the balance
forever.

X2: X-Men United:
Mutants.
Since the discovery of their existence,
they have been regarded with fear, suspicion, and often hatred.
Across the planet, debate rages:
Are mutants the next link in the evolutionary chain…
or simply a new species of humanity, fighting for their share of the world?
Either way, one fact has been historically proven:
Sharing the world has never been humanity’s defining attribute.

X-Men:
Mutation.
It is the key to our evolution.
It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism
into the dominant species on the planet.
This process is slow,
normally taking thousands and thousands of years…
But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.

X-Men 3: The Last Stand - Teaser Trailer voice over:
Since the dawn of existence
there have always been moments when the course of history shifted.
Such a turning point is upon us now.
A conflict between the better and worse Angels of our very nature
whose outcome will change our world so greatly, there will be no going back.
I do not know if victory is possible,
I only know that great sacrifice will be required.
And because the fate of many will depend on a few,
we must make a last stand.

wasted. i woudl have much preffered the voice over. it is grand.

cool topic!! i love the monologue!

Xavier's X3 voiceover was far too rushed. Good thing it was cut (however it could have been reinserted, with just repositioning of a few scenes). Actually, Xavier's rushed voiceover practically summarizes the film perfectly: rushed too much to even make a difference, or better yet, an impact. :)

I liked X1's followed by X2's.
X3's seemed for worse than the other 2, but I still think it would have been better if they kept for continuity.

Did you see the deleted voiceover from IGN? That had music to it (albeit horrific F/X; probably unfinished).

I don't mind some music or sound in the background, but it sounds like Stewart's voice is competing with the swirling sound effects in the deleted scene. It probably is a fairly raw cut of the scene though.

it wasnt noticable enough....... or i think the swirly sounds aint supposed to be there....

something is totally off there.... if they were gonna leave it like that then i understand why they cut it.

but the monologue was the best of the whole trilogy

^I thought it was the worst. It was too fast and like BMM said it sounded like Stewart's voice was competing with the special effects.

I think the X3 teaser trailer voiceover was the best out of the four. Why it wasn't chosen, or kept in the film, I have no idea.
