I've had my Wacom Bamboo for about 2 years now, and recently scratches have started to become an issue. It's not that I care about how the tablet looks (I'm not really picky like that), but the scratches are a bit irritating to draw on because I'm used to drawing on a smooth surface. Is there any material or product that I can buy that I can put on top of the wacom's drawing surface so that the scratches won't affect my drawing?

I've had a Bamboo for about the same amount of time (maybe a little longer) and it doesn't have a single mark on it. The reason for that is that I always use a sheet of paper on top of the tablet itself, so it not only feels like drawing on paper, but it protects the tablet as well.

You might be able to get a slick sheet of bristle board that will sit comfortably on top of the tablet if you like drawing on smooth surfaces.
