If you honestly can't tell the difference from watching clips of the two games, then I don't know what to tell you.

Aside from you being a dude with powers in a city, they are very different.

Interesting, seems like it says that the game doesn't fall into many of the pitfalls I thought it might. Actually sounds pretty good, and the negatives really don't sound that bad at all.

Let's see what other reviewers say. InFamous is getting mostly high 8-9 scores, it'd be cool if Prototype did, too. We could have two high tier superhero sandbox games, one for carnage/destruction and one more traditional action.

I think they've very similar as well. I dig sandbox games so I'll be gettin 'em both but look forward to inFamous more.

Prototype has over the top action and Infamous is more focus. They do have similarities or parallels. A virus outbreak in Prototype while Infamous had a bomb explosion in the city; both are calamitous events affecting both populations of cities featured in the games. The virus gave Alex abilities wherein the explosion gave Cole his powers.

Infamous already has great reviews, I hope Prototype will have too. And I hope Marvel and DC could be influenced by these games in the game development of their characters.

I just hope this game isn't too chaotic. The video of Alex fighting tanks and helicopters looked like something out of those Rampage arcade games.

That kind of seems fair. Infamous did have a Spiderman feel especially with all the jumping and climbing around. Havent played Prototype, but it seems to be more about destruction and rampages like Hulk

i don't know about you guys but i already paid for my copy of [PROTOTYPE] for PS3 in full about a month ago. but prototype isn't really a hulk game its more of a gta meets resident evil meets god of war
