Well, they know they can sell a PS2 easier than selling a PS3. Went to Best Buy today and saw 5-6 brand new 60GB PS3's sitting there and no one caring at all. Still haven't managing to find a Wii yet.

PS2 = $129.99, memory card is $24.99, and controller is $24.99 (all Sony brands) for a grand total of about $180 and all you save is 100 bucks off the PS3. Thats only about 50% of original value which I guess could be worse. I personally wouldnt advise anyone to do this and keep your PS2 unless there really is a title out their right now that you have to get for the PS3. Im not getting rid of my PS2 bc it still has alot of life in it. I got games from the summer/early fall that I put on hold to play FFXII and there's still GoW2 coming out soon.

Yeah it removes filtering for some odd reason (PS1 games didn't use filtering). That better be fixed soon.
