AFAIK the deal isn't in concrete. I read it on some tech magazine or business magazine the other day while I was in WalMart. Not a gaming mag, but something like Wired or such.
Give it a few days and I'm sure it'll be around as a well known fact. It's like the thing Sony did with Everquest. One day you could sell **** on there, the next you couldn't and actions/accounts were being pulled. I'm assuming that it'll be the same way closer to the release of the PS3.
SOrry to burst your bubble, but I had the same idea when I saw how much the 360's were going for. I was gonna get 3 PS3's opening day (i got two brothers that were going to stand in, I'de pay for them and split the profit 80/10/10) but when I heard the slightest rumor about the eBay situation I backed out. Why? Because eBay's known to do **** like this without a moments hesitation.
