I made this thread in the Sony fourm, but didn't get a response yet. So i'm quoting what I said in hope that someone can help me. :)

Hey guys, I just got a PSP the other day and I saw all the features that are on it. I'm trying to install the internet on my PSP, but i'm confused as to what to do. I've gone through all the steps, and everytime I try to get the internet on it, it always tells me that I need an "Access Point." What does it mean by that? I'm so close to getting it but don't know what to do. So help would really be great, thanks!

Can anyone help me please?

Do you have a wireless router successfully installed on your computer? The axis point it's trying to detect is a signal pretty much. If you don't have a router it's not getting a signal. When you get a router set up you just have to do what you are doing, except it will find the signal.

I think I do. Where's the wireless router supposed to be on my computer?

The wireless router isn't part of your computer. It's a device that connects to your external DSL or Cable modem and routes a wifi signal from it. Newer modems tend to have wireless built in, but not all do. If you don't have a wireless router or a modem w/ wireless, you can't go online with your PSP until you get one.

Yeah I figured it out, thanks guys for helping me out. :)
