Marvel have there series of What If? Stories that are already being taken to the small screen and DC have there Elseworlds stories. My question for you all on this one is pick a Marvel or DC character (or you can easily do one for both) or even one from another publisher that you would like to see get one of these punk style stories and say which one you think it should be. Even include a little bit of how you'd like the story to go just if you want.
(Can ignore CASSETTE FUTURISM no idea why that's on the list as well)
I will start us off with my choices for Marvel & DC, they would be....
Iron Man Dieselpunk Style
Now the best way I could describe this would be to ask if any of you have seen The Rocketeer because that would sort of be the premise I would run with albeit change a few things. Love the idea of having Tony create his suit in that period and have it allow him to fly without the need of an aircraft soon attracting the attention of enemies and the government.
The Question Cyberpunk Style
Always just thought the idea of a detective style story in a Cyberpunk setting went really well together also think you could easily work in the idea of The Question's mask being a precaution to stop him from being identified by one of the megacorporation's.
