Puppy dies after being placed in overhead storage bin on United flight

Not surprising at all. Airliners have a horrid reputation with pets. Pets have been baked alive on the runway waiting to be loaded onto planes, pets have been lost, pets have died due to neglect and mishandling, pets have gotten out of their crates and ran off, pets have died from oxygen deprivation. You couldn't pay me to travel with a pet by airplane.

I can't even imagine putting an animal in one of those. Crazy. :(

In this case it seems the flight attendant screwed up

What is wrong with United these days, it's like they're being run by the devil this last year.

United SHOULD be sued for this outrage. I would never ever get on a United Airlines flight.

Who shoves a puppy into an overhead compartment and then is surprised when it dies?
