Its so sad watching a new Pushing Daises. How I despise ABC for canceling my pride and joy.
You know what gets me? They have to have a ton of shows that had less viewers than Pushing daises, and they're still on the air. I mean, who the hell was watching brothers and Sisters? Seriously? And that gets to stay while this infinitely better show gets s**t canned? bah.
Because its more simple? And it has DH as a lead in. While PD a brand new show had no lead in and was a lead in for PP which was also a new show and totally different and was already more well known, plus it didnt help that they kept it off the air for almost a year. Oh and they never promoted it..I have a lot of anger about this shows terriable cancellation.
“Pushing Daisies’” pie-making protagonist Ned isn’t the only one with the power to bring the dead back to life. Series creator Bryan Fuller has resurrected ABC’s canceled television series at DC Comics — at least for twelve issues.
In an interview with E! Online, Fuller described the first new storyline as a fresh take on the zombie genre starring all of the characters from the show.
“It’s basically Chuck, Ned, Emerson and Olive versus 1,000 corpses, so it becomes a zombie movie, but the zombies are articulate and smart and can do things that no other zombies can do. The Pie-Maker versus 1,000 corpses,” said Fuller.
This isn’t the first comic book incarnation of the series, a special one-shot issue was distributed at the 2007 Comic-Con International in San Diego with a cover by artist and fellow “Heroes” contributor Tim Sale. No artist for the new series has been announced yet, but Fuller said he hoped to have new artwork as a giveaway at the DC booth during this summer’s Comic-Con as well.
After two seasons, the final three “Pushing Daisies” installments will air for three weeks beginning May 30. A special ending was written to effectively bring the television show to a close, but Fuller seemed determined to keep the comic book series alive for the foreseeable future.
“I literally just finished outlining the 12-episode arc, which has an ending that propels us into another big story, so it’s kind of blackmailing [DC] into ordering more comics, but we’ll see if that’ll happen,” said Fuller.

Exactly!
ABC wastes air time on a ridiculous show about people falling on their fat a$$es like WipeOut and stupid atrocities like the Bachelor and Bachelorette but gets rid of a funny, mysterious show with cool characters and stories like Pusihing Daisies is unreal.
Some ABC executives are smoking stuff that isn't very good!
I'm really going to miss this show. I keep thinking that since Dead Like Me got a DTV movie that perhaps Pushing Daisies could maybe get one as well but I suppose ABC won't bother so I guess I'll just look forward to the comic book.Finale episode airs tonight.I'm really going to miss this show. Now I just want to see their continued lives. For me it gave very little closure, and just made me ask more questions.
