Q&A With a Patron of Gotham City.

I get questions all the times via the PM system: "Hey, what's it like living in Gotham City?", well I'll tell you. It's rough. Although opposite of what most people say, things aren't worse than ever. Even back in 08 during the whole Joker fiasco, I don't think most citizens were that scared to walk the streets. It's one sick murdering nutcase among many in this city. The crime rates here have always been through the roofs, and that's just how it is.

Now don't get me wrong. When Batman showed up, things did get a lot better and it DID give us hope. Belief that change was coming, but we never really FULLY believed it. Even a few years before the caped crusader arrived, we had an astounding number of murders, robberies etc. Even that psycho Vic or Victor or whatever his name was, going around with a a liquid nitrogen tank back in 06 going around freezing people on the streets at random and breaking them in half. Yeah, that will put a lot of worry into the minds of anyone.

Still, one thing I can say about Gotham is the good people never lose hope. Even after the last fiasco, we still believe in our city and that's the best thing I'd say about living here. And it's why the common misconception that this is a bad place to live, sort of bothers me. I mean, there's crimes in every city. But there are a lot of good people that live here. And I wish people realized that not everyone is a Joker.

Gotham is an alternate name for Chicago.

You can't believe those gossip columns like Gotham Inquirer. They just want to sell copies. Although I do find it odd how he's always hanging around this circus performer kid like he's Michael Jackson or something. But the news says he's just an orphan that Bruce has taken under his wing.

I honestly don't think he's gay.

 

0. Contrary to popular belief, Gotham actually does a good job of containing it's prisoners.

But to answer your question the closest I've come to contact with The Joker was when he interrupted a fund raiser that I sneaked into hosted by Bruce Wayne.

Her elbows are too pointy for my liking. But I've never actually seen her in person.

Catwoman on the other hand... If she lost a few pounds I'd probably go out with her.

 

There were rumors about that a few months back when the city was on lockdown. But I also heard it from the same lady that claimed she overheard Bruce Wayne at a party or something one time, say that he watched a man die. So take it with a grain of salt.

 

One of my childhood friends always told me about his suspicion that Bruce is Batman. Not sure how he came to that conclusion. He said he looked into his eyes and saw it or something... It was a weird explanation he gave.

They're doing a good job fixing up the city. I've been volunteering to help out too. But yeah, the only important bridge that was blown that I know of(leads into and out of Gotham) has been repaired as it only had minor damage.

 

You think a billionaire playboy is parading around at night fighting crime? I'm sure that Batman who has a "no killing" policy, also admitted to watching a man die in front of a woman as Bruce Wayne? Because I'm sure someone with a policy not to kill watches people die all of the time.

This is assuming that lady was telling the truth. Although she had about as much credibility as you with such silly claims.
