I don't think Quesada's so bad. He's made wrong choices sure, but so have tons of Spiderman writers. He gets dumped on a lot more than he should IMO, it's almost like how Green Goblins to blame in comics, now it's "WTF happened to Thor, OMG I </3 Quesada!!!". I disliked him at first reading everyones comments on him, because before these boards I never really cared who the writers were, only the artists. After reading his responses to fan hate, and watching him on Colbert report, this guys actually seems pretty smart and turns 9 outta 10 comments around in a clever or smart ass way. To tell the truth, we have hind sight and can say "Damn that story 10 years ago sucked", Marvel on the other hand sees it as "Spidey's sales are dropping, we need to do something huge to shake things up and bring readers back". Not an excuse for ruining good characters, but def a lot more goes into it than, "Duh! Hi ya'll I'm Quesada, I thunk Im gunna ruin Spiderman for nah gud reason other than I hate tha' fans!".

I find that people that continually complain about other people complaining to be hypocrites in a sort of ironic type of way, of course the misconception here is that people who complain about complainers are in the right, but of course like all fallacies, people who complain about complainers are equally as annoying as the complainers they complain about. therefore, it is within reason to deduce that as people who complain about complainers tell the complainers to stop reading or doing the things they complain about its also equally opportuinistic to point out to the person complaining about the complainers to cease reading posts about people complaining because in fact, they are comminting the same act they complain about.

You may have just figured this out, but everyone is hypocritical at one point or another. It's just human nature. Anyone who says to you they have never done anything or said anything hypocritical at one time or another is a liar, period.

Personally, I just think you have ot be ******ed to pay for something you hate to read or whatever and keep coming back month after month after month. That strikes me as incredibly stupid.

I backed up my convictions on this one. If a title I read gets crappy, I do what I always do; stop reading untill it gets good again. You think Im gonna pay for something I don't like? You gotta be ****ing kidding.

I understand that, yes ranting and discussing on the net is fun, but really, the only way you are going to affect Marvel is by not supporting titles you don't like. It's common sense. Sitting around on the net *****ing doesn't do a damned thing. If it did, New Avengers would have been cancelled by issue four and Brian Michael Bendis would be working in a mcdonald's somewhere. But as you can see, it did jack **** and people still complain about marvel but it still has better sales than it has in years,

I just find people who complain that they just don't have the courage of their convictions. If you don't like something, don't read it. I know it sounds radical but hey, it works.
