OK, I'm sure this is something well covered but I just noticed it and tried researching it before posting. I came here because I'm a casual fan and not a member of any Star Wars board and figured there might be a knowledgeable fan or two on The Hype.

here goes...

On Endor after the Empire stops their first attempt to blow up the shield generator and have all the rebels rounded up outside, one of the captured rebels is in a Scout Trooper armor. Never noticed that before.

My question is if there is something in the script or even a deleted scene explaining how he ended up disguised as an Imperial Troop? Or we're just left to assume he took the Scout Trooper's trooper to pose as the one that got left behind after the Ewok jacked his bike?

My guess is that it was probably just a prop, but probably had no significance to being used.

Actually, you can see him getting the armor on when they are entering the bunker. Actually, although there may be a tad bit of EU, this may help you : http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Nik_Sant

I can't rememebr if that was actually cut, but basically he took it when they raided the shiled generator.

I've heard this mentioned in a commentary or another fashion, but there is a story behind how the rebel ended up in the armor.

EDIT: DreamMaster beat me to it.
