Transformers Question about Spike and Sparkplug Witwicky's jobs?

I been wondering, Since Spike Witwicky and Sparkplug Witwicky will be in the movie, Are they going to be Dock Workers like in the cartoon or they are gonna be your traditional suburban father and son type?

From what I've heard (rumors) they will go the old G1 US Comic route.
Ron "Sparkplug" Witwicky is a working-class mechanic and his son, Sam "Spike" Witwicky is just a teenager in the later years of high school. Just like in the old Marvel Comics, only difference is Spike is in the movie instead of Buster (who was the man teenager/son in the comics).


The Movie Story goes like this supposedly:
Sparkplug gives Sam money to buy his first car, and Sam buys a beaten up, rusted, rented old Camero with his money, in hopes of fixing it up. Camero turns out to be Bumblebee and then Spike and Bee become friends after a while.

It makes a lot of sense for Sparkplug to be a mechanic since in the cartoons, He has helped the autobots on some repairs before.
