I want to buy this film on Blu-Ray, but I want to get the version with the theatrical subtitles. I went to Best Buy today, but they didn't have it in stock. So I have to buy the film online.

Which version has the theatrical subtitles?

Note: I live in the United States. I have a Sony Blu-Ray player and a PS3, so I can't play anything that is Region locked.

Thanks.

I feel your pain in regards to the region lock since I also use my PS3. I ignorantly bought the Korean film Thirst from someone on Ebay(luckily it was cheap)and found out that I couldn't play it.

As for your trouble with finding the proper version of Let the Right One In, which I also had. Do you have a Barnes and Noble near you? That's where I ended up getting my copy. My local Best Buy also had the wrong version too. I just checked Amazon for you and looked at the pic they have of the back of the case and it's the wrong version. :csad:

Barnes and Noble sells movies?

Barnes and Nobles sells movies?

Hell yeah they do. I usually go there for Criterion films because they have a whole stand made up for them.

Just remember when you look at the back of the case, in the subtitles section in the lower left it should say "Subtitles: English(Theatrical).

I guess I'll try Barnes and Noble the next time I'm across the river.

I want this movie :csad:.

Cant you buy a region free blu-ray player?

I have the same problem only reversed hehe, I want to have Criterions blu-rays so I'm thinking of investing in a region free blu-ray player so I can import from the US to europe. It definately feels worth it.

What is the difference between the subtitles?

What the **** is right. I still wouldn't get it from Amazon, if they have both versions you won't know which one you'll get since I don't think you can choose.

What is the difference between the subtitles?

Wow. That difference is crazy. I thought it was just going to be a difference of style or font.
