ive been away from the gaming world for quite sometime now. is the PS3 any good? i already had a 360 and i didnt like it. had too many problems with it. my brother just got the Wii but i dont like most the games on there. i guess im just asking after they get on the shelves..are they worth buying?

Nope, crappy launch games, ridiculous price. If you didn't like 360, you just don't like games, so don't waste your money.

its not the fact i didnt like the games and stuff..i just kept having problems with the system. i bet they are fine now..but my dad would kill me if i went out and bought another one.

Not really true.

Resistance is a launch game which has received consistently good reviews around the 9 mark.

A few of the other launch titles have hot scores around 7/8, which may not be great, but isn't really 'crappy' either.

Crappy launch games. Resistance is all. 360 has at least Call of Duty 2, Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo and PGR3. And this guy hated all those games.

No he didn't...Read his posts. His 360 kept malfunctioning, it wasn't a problem of not liking games, he probably couldn't play the games.

As for if it is worth it or no, that depends. By the time the yare easily available on the store shelves there is a good chance that most of the bugs that tend to pop up on any new console will be fixed, so you probably won't have a problem there. There will be some more games out too which should help, but I don't think there will be any killer apps for the system for a while. Basically, if you can easily afford it, then get one, but if the price is a real big concern, then wait a year until it comes down in price.

exactly..it kept freezing and stuff..COD 2 was bad ass..i loved it.
