It's probably better if he's in the dark, this is supposed to be a murder-mystery after all, but, just tell him about Rorschach.

That quote is obviously taken out of context in the trailer. Rorschah is a psychopathic vigilante who is disgusted with the state of society, and has a sense of extreme moral entitlement. He's talking about "politicians" and "****es" - the scum of the Earth in his mind, I'm sure - and how they seem basically beyond saving, and he's morally above them.

It's great that there are people confused about the intentions of the Crimebusters (or "The Watchmen" in the movie). That's exactly how they should feel about this group of people in regards to the nature of right and wrong, and authority.

But, regarding Rorschah...I think it might be intentional of Snyder and co to make him seem like a "villain" in the piece, just to throw people off.

I hope I'm wrong, but I remember reading somewhere (maybe even in these boards) that they referred to the Crimebusters as "The Watchmen" in the film. A quote would be useful.

Regarding the Crimebusters, i'm pretty sure they've been changed to The Watchmen. I dont really like it, and I realize the only reason for it is to kinda dumb it down, but i'm pretty sure it's a studio decision and i'll get over it. Better than early drafts that had the Watchmen (Minutemen) and New Watchmen (Crimebusters). I'd say keeping Minutemen (an actual group) is more important than Crimebusters, which was never more than an idea and never saw past 1 meeting.
