LMAO, Oh my god is anybody else reading this... like seriously. You're completely twisting everything I've been saying and turning into whatever you're interpreting it to say. I mean really, read over this whole discussion again and tell me you believe what you're saying. I'm done here. This is the last thing I'm going to say. This is a fact. I AM right and you ARE wrong: I do not care about your opinion of The Avengers or The Hulk. I DO NOT. FACT.

You guys forgot Blade (First movie) or don't like it?

First one was very decent & entertaining movie with memorable scenes. It's definetely one of top Marvel movies in my list.

5. The Avengers
6. The Amazing Spiderman

Never seen any of the Blade or Punisher movies. Elektra, both Fantastic Four movies, Wolverine, and The Last Stand aren't even worth ranking. They were very subpar to awful movies.

Punisher movies were bad. Second even worse. I agree with Elektra,Fantastic Four,Wolverine & The Last Stand.

First Blade movie was pretty good. Second one was mostly gore stuff but watchable, especially fights. I don't wana talk about 3rd one.

I haven't watch First Class. I should do now.

some pretty interesting top 10's here. I think I saw some one who had Elektra as their #1 masterpiece and Avengers in their crapfest list. I would personally have those switched, but to each their own I guess.

I hate to be elitist, but everyone likes something that is ****. I love Roadhouse, but know it's a terrible movie.

doesn't make you or anyone an elitist...hell I really enjoyed the Daredevil movie...and it utter crap!

Yeah but see you recognize that, and it does make me an elitist a little. Anyone that thinks the second Hulk movie, The Incredible Hulk, is better than Ang Lee's Hulk, is wrong, period. So yes, I am being an elitist, at least a little.

I haven't seen Avengers or X-Men First Class but I imagine they would both go in the "Good" category based one what I know and have seen.

I wouldn't call you an elitist by any means..... I just think you're very very wrong.

Ang Lee's Hulk is one of the worst action/adventure/comic book movies of all time. It was on par with Elektra, Catwoman, 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain, Van Helsing, LXG, Steel, Batman and Robin.... catch my drift?

I would watch it again for 2 reasons: 1) a good laugh, 2) to learn how NOT to direct a movie.

And that's my point, most people think it is terrible, it is actually one of the better comic book movies. Does it have its flaws, yes, but putting it in the same category as the above mentioned, is drastically overstating.

Have you considered that you, and everyone else is wrong? Because, guess what, they are.

Story line alone, The Incredible Hulk is okay at best, it does nothing to show, or develop what the Hulk is really about. A man, that as a boy, suffered a traumatic event, has suppressed it, and now has an inner, hidden rage that comes out, and is a beast all of it's own, and in the end, all he/it really wants, is to be left alone.

But The Hulk heavily touches on this, is it too long, sure a little maybe, are the mutated dogs stupid, yes, but saying it is poorly directed, or worse than the 2008 movie, written by Zak Penn (that should tell you something, yes I know Norton made changes, not impressed with him either) let alone even saying that it is bad, is just flat out wrong.

I can understand if people don't like it, hell I don't like a lot of movies that are great, and like ones that are terrible, but I can recognize it. Which, again, is why I am saying I am being elitist.

That's why it's all opinion.

Believe me, I've seen it numerous times and everytime I burst into tears at how pathetic it is.

TIH's story wasn't "amazing." It didn't need to touch on the backstory like Hulk did. Hulk spent WAY too long trying to create a backstory for Hulk. It got boring and tedious. TIH assumed the viewer knew all of that. It covered the basic side of it, the gamma radiation, blown experiment, running from the government, etc. in the introduction to the movie. Hulk spent an hour exploring the origin, which forced it to leave out what people really want from an movie about the Hulk... non-stop action. While I personally found it to be too long and poorly executed, at least they put for the effort on that one. I give them credit for that.

Hulk often times seemed claymation instead of CGI motion capture

As for TIH, they handle all of the background early and went straight to the story of Banner avoiding the government, Blonsky getting the serum and becoming Abomination and a drag out battle between two giant monsters.

To me, the Hulk is like Superman.... an intellectual, deep villain is nice once in a while, but you want to see him in a drag out, bare knuckle fight. TIH delivered that. Hulk gave us a bastardized version of an already subpar and boring villain, and giant poodles.

I will give you one advantage Hulk had over TIH.... Liv Tyler is TERRIBLE.

I know you're entitled to your opinion and I respect that. But honestly man, you're the ONLY person I've met that has thought Hulk was better than TIH. But I do respect that fact that you're providing an actual argument instead of just spitting off elitist garbage. Kudos on that. (And no, that's not sarcasm, seriously, I respect it.)

I think the animation is underrated for that movie, I will give you that the actual appearance (color, build, et cetera) for the Hulk is off, but the actual CGI, for Hulk as least, is pretty damn good. Just for example, a hypothetical, imagine if someone said The Dark Knight was a terrible movie. Being a person of reason, as you seem to be, I would imagine you would ask them why.

If their response was simply, not enough fighting. You would probably say, well okay, that's your opinion, but if they gave what appeared to be a legitimate response, the opening sequence, the acting, scripting, pacing, plot, dialogue, and execution were all terrible, I am sure you would probably educate them on their ignorance.

There are methods to movie making and story telling, and Hulk uses them better than TIH. Enjoying something has nothing to do with the quality of the product. With that being said, I wouldn't say we're comparing Batman and Robin against TDK and debating which one is better. They both fell short in what a Hulk movie can be.

Also, I actually know several people that think Hulk is better than TIH. On here and in person.

Good chat though and I respect your position.

Save yourself, and don't bother with Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Such a bad movie.
