If it didn't look so much like one of those horribly stupid "spoof" movies, I might have some minor interest in seeing it, just to see what, if any, clues there are as to where it fits in the larger X-Verse filmic tapestry.

According to all the statements I've seen on it, it does, but, as I noted, it just doesn't look even remotely interesting to me, so I'm pretending that it doesn't exist.

The trailers pretty much tell you all you need to know about the X-Men involvement, so no loss there.

The weekend of Deadpool's release I was really itching to see it, but didn't make it to the theater, and has time has gone on I feel less inclined to watch it. Totally content with waiting for redbox I think, the more I delay the more skeptical I am of the movie as I was with the first couple trailers.

Anyway, when I contributed to this thread before I just did the MCU, not all Marvel properties, so I'll take another swing at it.

Civil War is the best Marvel movie to date. I know it's presumptious to give it a perfect score, but damnit I loved ever freaking second of it. Who woulda thought a Captain America film could be so amazing?!

Pretty good movie, nonetheless.

Lol. nothing fits into the larger x-verse tapestry. The x-tapestry is like trying to fit together 8 pieces from different puzzles. Some of them go together okay, but the rest you have to pound into each other with your fist until you are satisfied.

If FC and X1, and Wolverine: Origins and DoFP are the same universe, Deadpool can be too.

Civil War was so $@#&%!ing good!! At this point I feel like Marvel can't do wrong. It's still fresh, and even though I was blown away by this movie I don't want to say it trumps Winter Soldier. That movie had as a distinct feel and voice, and I feel like saying this new one is better could be a bit premature. But it's close.
