I'll be able to watch the first part before I have to head out but I'll def watch the rest when I get back.

Is this the uk one you were saying you wish you could track down?
 
This was the first time I saw Keaton in make-up before putting on the mask. Thanks for posting this :up: :eek:

No, this isnt the one Im trying to track down. If you watch the first segment tho, you can see a part where I was talking about with them spraying the latex into the cape mold.

well, dont be too hard on him.:yay: From my understanding, this was only shown once or twice in the UK back in the day. The guy who decided to upload and share it is the only person I knew of who even remembered it.
 
That was great, but I'd like to have heard from Jack Nicholson in that.

I saw the part of the guy spraying down the costume and thats why I thought it was the one you were looking for. So what's the one you are looking for?

Bizarrely, when I was ten, I didn't have access to every single programme screened in the entire United Kingdom.

There are a couple that i dont have in my possession, but have seen. To be honest, I think the one that Im trying to track down, the PBS special, was a compilation of all these documentaries. Reason for me believing this is, there are bits and parts of some of these docs that I destinctly remember, but not in those particular showings. Also, just out of memory, I remembered a segment of Anton Furst talking about his preliminary designs for Gotham and there sketches hanging all around him. I later was given a promotional dvd that had that segment. I even went as gar as emailing PBS to ask them about that airing to see if there was any info I could get on it, but never heard anything back. I should try again.

also this was a televised documentary for public viewing. It can be seen by anyone, its not "top secret". Just to clarify, there is only one, to my knowledge, that was made for "in house" use only. That was the promotional one used for the licensees and studio execs. This is common practice for alot of movies that are considered to be of high potential. Its just to let everyone know of how the production is going to and give a brief overview of things. They are usually marked thru the whole thing at the bottom of the sceen. Something like that is of "value" to us cornballs.:o


On the subject of these documentaries tho, its just funny coincidence that at the same time these things are being discussed on SHH, over on BOTB we are also doing alot of research on the props and some of the more detailed points of the costumes of the 89 movie. Thats why this UK doc has been uploaded and thats why I figured Id give you guys the link here. Im sure someone would have found it eventually tho.
 
Yeah, cause you guys are so keen on keeping all Batman fans up to date on this kind of stuff. You know since of all the videos you have of B89, only one is deemed not for public consumption, but this is the only one that's gone up?
