Hmm interesting choices.:D

How about a "Ill wait and see" option.

He seems alright. But some of the things he said worries me, like less CGI and a lighter tone.

ya, that's the one I'd pick, too. the guy seems to see eye to eye with what the general audience didn't like about the first one. it was too serious and lacked good action. but he did admit that you have to build characters in every first movie. thing was I didn't actually see a struggle between Bruce and Hulk... "I like it." well, at least Hulk hated Bruce... "puny human!" I hope the only character development focused on is the Banner/Hulk inner-battle and Betty's influence over the two. those have been the two major components of the comics and there is no reason to focus on things like Tabot and Betty's relationship with Ross. it's just not interesting enough.

so hopefully it's not serious and is more action packed. if the Transporter 2 is any foreshadowing it should be a good popcorn movie. at the same time, it could also mean the story and script are just ridiculous. scary. we'll see.

and less CGI (or "3D" as he put it) could go either way. people plenty *****ed about how horrible the CGI was for the Hulk. I agreed half way. some shots were just downright horrible. it seemed if he was under the blanket of night he looked like a toon but out under the sun were where I was really impressed with the animation. maybe that's they'll have to do more continuously in the sequel. what's the other options? a suit? like the CGI people will laud and besmirch the idea. everyone's a critic. I'm wondering what would happen if they took a real person and made the necessary make-up/prostetic applications (like Ferrigno) and then do how they did in LOTR with size manipulation. there was no error on screen when you saw the hobbits beside humans, it was 100% convincing. maybe that's all that needs be done here?

well, we all know which option Sava's gonna vote for ;)

i'll join the wait and see camp, but i'm a bit optimistic for the new guy.

I agree. A wait and see option is sorely needed. I haven't seen Transporter 2 but the first one was a decent popcorn flick. I don't want IncrediHulk to be a "Decent Popcorn Flick". It deserves better.

I just hope his directing isn't as corny as his last name. It sounds like some mix-breed of French canine.

i voted for ME!!!

but really, i'd wait and see

Sava's avatar > Everything in the World ! ;)

Voted Pizza (mmh pizza !) because he's a capable yes-man and that's all the franchise needs not somebody with too much artistic ambitions (sowwy Ang, loved your editing ! :o)

I'll agree with others and pick that option not on the poll.... in other words, I'm just gonna have to wait and see. ;)

Well i watched Unleashed last night and it was an averge movie with good action but again it was a short one (97mins), i have a feeling that with this guy and Penn we are gonna get a movie no longer than 100 mins.

Does anyone else feel that Marvel is slowly turning into the new FOX.

they are doing the right thing with IM and they had no choice but to go the action route with TIH, they could have hired better director and writer but what do we know, really, lets just wait and see.

Oh i am gonna wait and see, but my interest has definately dropped, IMO we are getting a 100 mins action fest with little to no character development. If Bana comes back, my hope will increase, if he doesnt, it will be the final proof that this is going to be tird IMO.

yeah, Bana said he'll only be back if its a good script, so if he joins, it'll be alteast good IMO.

I have a feeling he wont though, i know i am being a pessimistic pain in the ass!!! But i just cant see this Leterrier guy being able to convince him. I watched Unleashed last night and it is his best movie, but it is completely average.

i really liked Unleashed, i dont really have faith in the guy but i dont really think he's gonna f**k it up, i think we'll get a F4 like movie to be honest. I dont really mind that if we get amazing action, i'll have to wait and see what's goona happen. Maybe the trailers will change our minds. Shame cause i was so looking forward to this, then, it all went away, and now i'm in a "wait and see" mode.

To be honest ever since 2003 i expected Marvel to make a move like this, i just didnt think it would take this long. IMO Marvel are well on thier way to becoming the new Fox.

DC movies are gonna be the dominant force for a good while IMO. I mean DC get Christopher Nolan, Bryan Singer, and Joss Whedon to handle their three biggest properties. Marvel have got Tim Story, Brett Ratner and Louis Leterrier to handle 3 of their biggest movies of the last 3 years, basically i want to ask, WHAT THE **** ARE MARVEL DOING.

thats true, Marvel arent getting the best directors for their films

Anyway i'm off to Ibiza for a week you lucky people!!!!! Have fun and i'll see you guys when i get back
