I think they should be taken out.

I consider Kelsey a good casting choice.............just not for Ratner.

I agree I would say Jean's mom and Shohreh Aghdashloo as dr. kavita rao. plus john powell to do the soundtrack but that's not casting. oh yeah and trask i like him too.

People like Bill Duke and Shohreh Aghdashloo would have been outstanding choices had they had more to do. Bill Duke scares the beejeebers out of me no matter what he does, however he was simply underused in this film. I sometimes imagine a Trask/Stryker combination on screen.

Ellen Page, totally. She's a gem. Really, all the other Ratner-casting decisions weren't anything special to me. I consider Kelsey and Vinnie to be because of Vaughn Dr. Rao and Gen Trask had good actors, but the roles weren't special, so I ain't picking them, either

Edit: I forgot about Olivia as Dr. MacTaggart. She was an awesome casting choice...wish she had a bigger role.

i really like ellen page! i have to say thanks to ratner for casting her as kitty!! she is an exlent actress! she is one of the young actress with more future! and she is gettig very good roles! and i think that X3 help her alot! to get attencion ,and kelsy is very good too!

Ellen is an Indie actress before X3 she did Independant films only
and after X3 she is back to Indies
but im sure X3 helped get her alot more offers
i mean her Indies are good better roles than hers in X3
But much much much more people have seen X3 than people who have seen films like hard candy
most people dont know her for anything but X-men
being in such a big movie that made so much in the box office helps her career no matter how bad you think X3 it was seen by many multiples more than the people who saw her indies and im sure Indie producers consider her a much more "Bankable" star now than she was before X3 and are more likely to consider her
back to casting i forgot Shohreh she is one of my favourite actresses
actually my Favourite person in x3 after Famke
(im talking generally as an actress not her performance in x3 she had a very "limited" role)
