Ray Fisher is CYBORG!

Nope. It's there thing. If they cut them from the movie far more people would be upset. The scenes are not considered part of the movies and thats why critics never judge the scenes. They are just there for fun.

I don't think they were fun to watch. The lame shwarma scene in TA, that WTF GOTG plug in Thor 2, glorified TA teaser in CA:TFA, the idiotic 'shrink' scene with Tony and Banner in IM3, and that redundant Smithsonian scene in CA:TWS.

Tedious, more like.

When I first heard about this news, my reaction was pretty much this...

Not because I thought it was bad for me, but because I knew that a lot of people would grow more restless from hearing it for various of reasons.lol

WB didn't announce it, Variety did. Which makes me think his role is a cameo that WB was never even going to tell us about.

That could possibly be it...the football scene could be part of it. Who knows. I'm curious to see how things go about

Just want to know, how old is the guy? It'd be weird if he wasn't younger than DC's trinity.

Geoff Johns says Hi, and no way jose!
Prepare for barry(just like on the tv show he's helping to write). I heard he had a producer credit on this film. Barry and Hal it is.

Even if Jessie Paul as West is the clear win.

Can Snyder/Goyer overrule Johns's decision? It's not like you have to include the producer's ideas.

Did not expect this, hope this doesn't mean J'onn is out of the League.

Didn't the football scene get cut? Or is that still a rumour?

Your opinion. Although I think its in the minority.

The Hollywood Reporter have apparently confirmed Fisher's appearance as a one scene role.

Which is good and bad. I got a little excited with another black superhero on film. But I also want the characters to have some time to develop. So I get my cake...

I'm betting they'll announce another League member and one of the last scenes (possibly post/mid credits) will tease them for Justice League.

They basically mentioned WB putting out a casting call for a young, athletic black male for a one-scene role.

However, they did note at the bottom of the article that they did not know if it is still only one scene.

Did they mention what the role is? Are we sure that it is even for Cyborg? Coincidence?

I included the link in the post above. Here's the excerpt:

Warners quietly added the character to its casting call several months ago, when it began looking for a physically fit black actor. The part at the time called for only one scene but promised more in terms of future movies.
It is unclear if the part is still one scene.

So he'll appear at the Met vs Goth football game I guess?

I really am just backseating on this movie now. I'm onboard for whatever. Cyborg has never really worked for me as a character. His name and design just seem so 80s, but I look forward to see what Snyder can do to modernize his look. I'm sure it's possible. Woulda rathered John Jonzz and John Stewart on the JL roster though instead.

Well I guess we will see how it plays out...I'm not gonna get excited for a mere one scene cameo or whatever. Cyborg is cool and all but hey, he ain't no Superman!

Because of Cyborg? I highly doubt it.

Why? Sony's doing a Sinister Six movie; Teen Titans is no more far-fetched.

It's not even hard at this point: we have Cyborg, Batman's presence could easily lead to Robin down the line, so all they would have to introduce are Beast Boy, Starfire, and Raven (or others, depending on which incarnation you want to go with). It's probably a ways off if its happening at all, but it's within the realm of possibility.

TBH, even though I'm not big on MoS, I'm actually looking forward to this movie, if only to see how this whole setup will pay off.

Let's get straight to the real question here.

Will he say "boo-ya!"?
