I'm expecting him to bring a energy to these films that the older cast just won't have. He definitely has my approval. Just so long as he says Booyah!!
It's like he has jumped straight from comic book pages. Since he has a theater background, acting in a big movie wouldn't be difficult, he just needs a director who can guide him.
We haven't seen his acting but there is no denying a great look, and Snyder obviously knew he had something right away with him to bring him on board so early.
It's really cool for him to have been a struggling actor to having an opportunity where he is in BvS (small cameo but still cool), JL movies, and looks like he will have a solo film.
Very curious about this. I wonder what source material they're looking at?
Perhaps a Cyborg film could be about Vic finding and helping other troubled heroes and forming the Titans, taking them under his wing. Or perhaps it could be about Vic dealing with Magnus and the Metal Men. (A scene of Vic teaching football to the Metal Men would be gold).
I've always liked the idea of making a Cyborg story very personal though, focusing on his daily life, and not being so villain/action-centric. I want to see where Vic lives, etc.
Unlike Spidey, Supes, Bats, etc, Vic's identity is not a secret and his 'differences' are very apparent. And unlike Stark, Thor, Rogers, etc, Vic's just a regular young middle-class guy. I want to see flashbacks of the reaction from his entire extended family when they first see him; all his friends, his football team/coach, his girlfriend at the time, etc. I want to see how his world turned upside down, and I want to see Vic in present day perhaps trying to 'deal with it' or 'fix it'. Perhaps in an effort to be more human, he gets a new slimmer, albeit weaker, body. Maybe he tries to make his own way, finding a day job, paying his own rent, futily trying to blend in, etc.
I want to see how he deals with being connected all the time. What does he do when he accidentally discovers some very disturbing secrets about a family member or girlfriend? How does he deal with white-lies? How does he deal with knowing everything about someone the instant he meets them. What about a subplot of Vic finally trying to get his love-life going again after it fell apart post-accident. I could imagine a lighthearted scene of him hacking some online dating service (and perhaps leaves the whole 'Cyborg' part out...). Perhaps he's blind to the affections of another metahuman (one of the Titans?), and he doesn't realize that he still hasn't accepted his new-self, trying to get a 'normal' girl. Maybe he has to accept his limitations, and recognize how they could be seen as a blessing in other ways. Just spitballing here.

A Cyborg/Flash friendship. When you look at the possible JL roster, we have Trinity, Aquaman, Cy, and Flash. Cy and Flash are the 2 youngest. Flash is a crime scene investigator and Cy is basically a living breathing criminal database.
I would like to see a friendship form between them. It's a smart and good idea.
If there's no Lantern then the buddy dynamic would probably be between Flash/Cyborg. They didn't cast Miller for no reason, his comedic ability is pretty apparent. And the small amount of footage I've seen of Fisher makes him seem charismatic, a humorous friendship between Cyborg and Flash would be cool.

They're also the most 'normal' people in the team, despite having powers. They're surrounded by an extremely powerful god-like alien, a genius/billionaire/detective/vigilante, Amazon Princess/demigoddess/daughter of Zeus and the King of Atlantis.
