Rayman Legends

From everything I've seen about the game it'll be just like Rayman Origins which is a lot like NSMBU, so you probably wouldn't like it anyway. So it's probably good they pissed you off enough not to buy it by delaying it, they saved you from buying a game you wouldn't want.

I tried the Legends demo and liked it. NSMBU felt like a rehash of NSMBW which I didn't like that much. It felt like an empty clone of SMW/SMB3.

Anyone else play the demo? I was slightly disappointed by it. It felt kind of slow compared to Origins, and (played on 360 by the way) there were aspects of it that very much felt like Wii U functionality shoehorned onto a normal controller. I'm going to wait for reviews.

That green guy who followed and helped the Wii U gamepad guy just wasn't working for me. He wouldn't go to the places that I needed him to go to at all

Giant Bomb review (5/5)

Above all else, Rayman Legends is just charming as hell. Origins was too, but Legends takes many of the best elements of Origins--its beautiful visuals, accessible controls, clever level designs, and goofily catchy music--and improves upon just about every one of them. Origins had the distinction of being one of the best-looking, best-playing 2D platformers of this generation, and Legends somehow manages to be even more masterful in its execution. This is one of those games that's so terrifically crafted, so effervescently energetic, so beautifully, colorfully drawn, that it's genuinely difficult to come up with legitimate caveats to possibly dissuade anyone from it.

So I won't even try. Just play Rayman Legends. You won't regret it.

Ok ending this month out.

After playing through Rayman's latest adventure, I have an even greater appreciation for the artistry that Ubisoft has brought to *2D *platforming.

Ubisoft 'not ruling out' Rayman Legends for 3DS

Just because Rayman Legends has already launched on most modern platforms doesn't mean you should rule out its eventual jump to the 3DS, Ubisoft executive Alain Corre told CVG last week.

"When you look at Rayman Legends you see it's a very big game with a lot of levels," Corre said. "It takes time to squeeze everything and downsize it into other formats." Corre's statements toward a 3DS version were more of a musing than a confirmation, however, as he added that Ubisoft can't "say anything for the moment, but we can't rule the format out."

The 3DS version of Rayman Origins launched six months after the game's initial launch on the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii. Considering Legends just launched weeks ago, Ubisoft has plenty of time to follow suit with its hypothetical port to the 3DS.

Been playing a lot of this on Wii u. Really hate the Murphy levels but man the music levels are amazing. I want a game just full of the music levels

Excellent. I didn't get it yet because the touch screen stuff didn't seem to translate well to traditional control pads, but since the DS4 has that little touch thingy, maybe it will make more sense on the PS4.

Hmmm, with this I see them using this as a way to include the vita.

thats what I thought. I hope the touchpad is used to control that supporting character as it would be more intuitive and make more sense than the DS3

Hah. I just got rid of this to get ACIV. It was the give a game get a game free thing at future shop.

The touchpad on the ds4 would not work for Murphy
