In regards to De Niro, it's kind of sad that his role in American Hustle was for one scene and lasted all of five minutes, yet it was arguably his best role since Casino, and that was almost 20 years ago. I didn't think he turned in a bad performance in Silver Linings Playbook, but it wasn't really anything different from Meet the Parents or Analyze This De Niro.


As for the rest of the nominations, there's nothing that I'd really argue about. That's a pretty bad list of films. I don't hate The Lone Ranger as much as others do, but I can see why it gets a lot of hate.

You must have totally forgotten about Heat altogether.

LOL, seriously. Whenever I see MOS on someone's "Worst of 2013" list, I have to roll my eyes. This year had movies like A Haunted House and Movie 43. MOS isn't even in the same category as crap like that. Hell, it's not even the worst superhero movie of 2013, IMO. That "honor" goes to Thor 2.

I hope Movie 43 wins everything. It's the kind of film that the razzies are all about.

I mean, I've already got two people to watch it because it's so bad... (One of whom literally stormed out of the room at one point yelling 'I don't have to sit through this ****' before we made him sit back down and endure to the end ).

Some of the films on the list suck, but in that way were you were just bored and wouldn't recommend it.

Movie 43 was a spectacular train wreck, and watching it is an experiance of disbelief, confusion and dismay

Well MOS is the worst reviewed superhero film out of the big 4 released this year and the only one that is rotten according to the critics on RT.

Means f*** all. MOS was better than Thor 2 and RT couldn't give a damn seeing as it's over 50% so that means half enjoyed it anyway. So it was split not terrible.

Let's be honest if MOS was in this Razzie you'd be having a field day.

Sly is the Razzie record holder with some 30 nominations. I think almost every performance of his has been nominated for the Razzie. They think he is the worst actor ever.
