Superman is no regular guy

Yeah, he's smarter than we are...and a Big Boyscout, so he should always be prepared...:o

Okay try this. Put yourself in Supermans position. Surely if Lois was a little bit more "responsible" she would have waited untl they got protection but she chosed not to. Now if your with a Girl you have been wanting to do for a long time & she pretty much offers herself to you & is willing to do it without protection what would YOU do

In this case neither of them were responsible but Superman did what evey other guy would do in his situation

Hey man, birth control isn't JUST the womans responsibility. It takes 2 to play, so 2 gotta pay.
He really is a superman though - most other guys just bug out when they knock up their women. Supes left the whole frakin' solar system!

I would have said no. It would be irresponsible. But thats just me, and my small town midwestern upbringing...oh wait...Supes had that too!!

Not every guy (especially Superman) becomes a raging uncontrolable horndog when a girl is willing.

and point #2...why was Lois not on birthcontrol? almost every girl nowadays is on it whether or not she's haveing sex...

It doesn't matter how honourably the fictional character is supposed to have behaved... he's ended up in an igonminous, embarassing and inappropriate position because that's where the writers of this film mistakenly thought it would be a good idea to take him.

How about if Superman was rendered unconscious and then brutally sodomised by Lex Luthor?

As with fathering the kid with Lois it wouldn't be Superman's fault - it would be the fault of the writers.

I'll be throwing up if the kid throws the piano :(

Well prepare to throw up. I would bet money on the fact that there is a scene with the boy and a flying piano.... and well I can say that because I seen the movie on Saturday! It didn't show him throw the piano but it hints to him throwing it. Since he is sitting at it... his mom gets attacked... there is a build up in music. Then a piano flys super fast at the dude attacking lois. Then the camera moves over and shows a freaked out kid with no piano. He also did seemingly recognize Clark as superman in one scene at the Daily Planet.

A cut scene from Superman II:

Clark: "Sweet. I don't have powers. Let's have sex, Lois!"
Lois: (confused) "We couldn't have sex before?"
Clark: "No way! I would've killed you with my super sperm!"
Lois: (uncomfortablly backs away) "Oh."
Clark: "No, it's okay now! No super powers, no super sperm. We can get it on!"
Lois: "Oh, ok. Do you have any condoms?"
Clark: (sheepishly looks around) "Uhhhhh, no. I never thought I'd need any. Super sperm, remember? No condom on earth could stop 'em. Besides, I never expected to ever be able to have sex anyway, so why have any? Hell, I can't even *********e without causing a sonic boom, but that's another story altogether."
Lois: "No condoms?" (starts to back away)
Clark: "Wait. Wait!!" (starts to panic) "Um, we don't need condoms."
Lois: "Why not?"
Clark: "Becauuuuuuuuse... right! Because I'm an alien! Do you know what the odds are of two alien species living billions of lightyears apart being compatable enough to produce offspring?"
Lois: "No."
Clark: "Believe me, it's like 999 billion trillion zillion to one!"

Y'all are just stupid :)

C'mon, you act like he wasn't in love with the woman. They had sex...they wanted it to be bareback because ya know that when....well...uhhh...nevamind :)

Point is they were in love in SII. The question I still have is did the sex happen in SII? Is that the point of conception for little Jason? People who have seen the movie say immediately "vague history", so maybe they did get it on at a later point and decided bare-back was the WTG. Or maybe, the were so in love in SII that they just wanted to bang.

C'mon...this can't be a totally foriegn idea to some of you folks :)

What could be better than Father and Son fighting it out then at the very end the son seeing his folly?! Lex knows he is the son of Superman so maybe he will try and lead him down the wrong road in life. What would push jason over the edge? Superman not saving His mother in time or Lex making her death look like Superman's fault.

The only thing better than Jason turning evil is to see Doomsday attack Earth and kill Superman in the next movie and in the 3rd movie have Jason revenge his fathers death in a fight to end all fights....while wearing his father's suit he held in the this film.

Well one of them has to go! Superman with a sidekick son is just gay so one of them must die..simple. Jason has blood on his hands at 5!! Beat that Superman!!

Besides the second act is always the best anyways

Excellent idea!

That'd be interesting to see, superman dealing with an Evil Kid.

Theres no evidence that the kid can even control superpowers properly or ever become Superman's sidekick.

I really doubt thats the direction they will take him.

I doubt theyd make him evil either....since Superman isnt about tragedy, its about hope...and Mike and Dan realize that.

well i got the perfect plot for getting rid of the kid for awhile....Kal-El could send him away back to the graveyard to learn about his half home planet kinda like boarding school....in the mean time brainiac finds him and holds him hostage :P then brainiac comes to eath wanting a world of his own and then making superman choose to either save his son or the planet.... not a bad idea

so if this kid is the son of superman but he was depowered, does the kid have any powers?!

for the last time..-sigh- half-human/half kryptonian..not that many powers developed yet..and he's only 5.
