Nintendo fans rejoice. I saw this at IGN. But in Capcom's latest annual report they spoke of the waning issue of exclusivity and how after looking at Dead Rising among other things and Wiis support that RE5 will be on multiple CONSOLES besides PS3. And Devil May Cry 4 will be at least on the 360.

Rejoice Nintendo and Microsoft fans, sorry Sony though.

'In addition to the Xbox 360, which has already been released, PlayStation 3 (hereinafter PS3) and Wii will be introduced in the fall of 2006 Although these new game consoles will be capable of offering new ways of playing games and breathtaking graphics, there is some fear that profitability will be diminished due to high development costs of these highly advanced systems. In view of the anticipated market growth beginning in 2007, we have initiated the development of several new titles including the latest in the Resident Evil and Devil May Cry series intended for next-generation game consoles.

Capcoms platform strategy is to introduce multi-platform products in order to increase sales, thereby maximizing profit. We will also invest aggressively in the development of software for next-generation game systems. Multiple titles are being developed already, including the latest titles of the Resident Evil and the Devil May Cry series

Well I should refrain. It says the game is coming out on multiple consoles I should not say definitively which console they are. Just they are coming. And if DMC4 is coming out on several consoles, wouldn't 360 make more sense than Wii then?

Didn't Capcom say that the new RE-game for Wii would be something else than the RE 5 coming to the other consoles?

I think that a Wii version of Resident Evil 5 will eventually be made. They'll probally use the Gamecube controller using the same control style as Resident Evil 4 and downgrade the graphics.

Why would the graphics be downgraded?

Because the Wii can't touch the PS3 by a longshot in that department?

I'm more curious why not use the Wii-mote? And it implied that the next installment in each franchise would go to multiple systems. Now DMC4 is a Playstation exclusive supposedly so why would it go to multiple systems? I'm more interested in RE5 to be honest though.

If the game looked a little better than RE4, I would be satisfied. RE4 was such a pretty game.

Or the Xbox 360. I kinda do wish that Nintendo focused a little bit more on the graphics.

Because the Wii using the Gamecube's controller at least gives it a chance to play normal games along with innovative games. It's the best of both worlds.

Devil May Cry 4 is a Playstation 3 exclusive but Devil May Cry 5 on the other hand....

Yeah, and RE4 was a Gamecube exclusive too though.

If you know anything, you'd know the 360 can handle anything the PS3 can.

If they down grade the graphics like they have for wii COD3, might as well not bother. That game looks like an early ps2 game for the wii.

Where is he impying that it can't?

On the discussion of graphics, DACrowe said "the Wii can't touch the PS3 by a longshot in that department" and then Hippie Hunter said "Or the Xbox360".

I didn't mean that. I meant the Wii is also vastly inferior in graphics compared to the Xbox 360 also.

I wasn't comparing the Xbox 360 to the Playstation 3. I know they're basically the same. I was comparing the Wii with the Xbox 360.

Looks like WHF's fanboyism took effect.
If saying the 360 and PS3 are near in power potential makes me a fanboy, pretty much everyone who knows what they're talking about is a fanboy.

Well, I'm a fanboy anyways, but that's just a really stupid reason to be mad at me.

And HippieHunter, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

SEXY DANCE!!!!

While that would be cool, he could be talking about the Resident Evil Wii that is slated for the system.

That wasn't why I called you a fanboy, I agree with that first statement.

I called you a fanboy because you misunderstood hippie's post, but the way you interpeted it really made no sense, and it looked like you were trying to defend the 360 no matter what.

But at least you admitted it. :oldrazz:

I kinda took it as hippy defending xbox 360, actually, as in he pointed out something the other guy, through ignorance or fanboyish-ness, decided not to. I didn't take it as a slant at all.
