I will NEVER understand that asst. coach that caught Sandusky red handed in the showers not doing something then and there. Sure, we all can think of self preservation in terms of our careers/jobs when it comes to turning a blind eye to stuff we know or think is not on the up and up but this wasn't looking the other way when the boss's kid is using company equipment for personal use or the like. This was coming across child molestation IN PROGRESS. And this wasn't some closing in on 70 secretary, this was a young and athletic former football player in his prime. What was Sandusky going to do if that guy had after coming on to the scene of him and that boy just went into the next room, picked up a folding chair and had proceeded to beat the crap out of him and took the boy out of there? And as for thinking about his career, if in fact that even crossed his mind? Well... Jesus, after you take that kid to the police you're gonna be a ****ing national hero! Who wouldn't want to hire the hero asst. coach that saved a kid from sexual abuse?


I lived in Pennsylvania. It's a football crazy state and the Lions take up a lot of mental space in the average Pennsylvanian fan's mind. But the mental gymnastics so many went through to somehow justify or excuse this decades long crime spree by Sandusky is simply unthinkable to anyone with even a half assed sense of morality. There are convicted killers in prison now that would have done more to protect those children than the entire ****ing football program at a major American university.

the movie was even more eye opening... i suggest watching it cause, while disturbing, it is very good and Pacino is going to win awards.
