I'm asking cause he's a pal.I would tell you....but I don't want to contribute to your dossier of Hype users.
I'm asking cause he's a pal.
I hope he never gets banned. And I'll add that no one should badmouth the man (or anyone else, to be honest), he deserves respect.Do you give favourable obituary writeups to pals? Like when reek gets banned will you say he was a nice guy who always saw the best in people?

Squeektopia is an ally of Reektopia, a partner in trade. If he gets banned he will push reektopia to greater heights and invade squeektopia. You have to look at the big picture mate.![]()

A partner in trade but both continuously attempting to infiltrate the other. It is a neverending game of chess..until one gets banned and rises up with the full force of their armies.
I'm camping in GA this weekend.
You all know what this means.
Reek and I shall play the most dangerous game...
Battles***!
If the victorious are small and furry you'll know who's coming for you all next!![]()
It goes on a bit long but the whole run was pretty good.![]()
Altered Carbon was really good. It gets a bit muddied at parts, but I generally enjoyed it. And soon, Lost in Space. Netflix is just throwing bags of money around.
Halfway through and I am enjoying it immensely. So far my one issue is that this show is very much "show don't tell" and it illustrates some of the limits of that viewpoint. There are a lot of things that even halfway through feels... hazy. The nature of their universe, history etc. is being doled out piecemeal which is fine for somethings but not for others. There are some huge issues and questions about the nature of human society in the show that I think would have been better handled if they had been spelled out for the viewer.
But other than that I adore everything else. The production values, the dialog, story, characters, humor, the fight choreography... Great stuff. Makes me feel like I am reading a good Sci Fi novel or seeing a great story from Heavy Metal being brought to life.
I hope it can stick the landing.
It's been a while since I recall the earlier episodes, but I could have sworn it did a lot of exposition. Possibly a bit too much for a scifi show that's clearly interested in being an action packed thriller first and foremost. They definitely got enough mileage out of the concept.
I obviously disagree. I don't want to go into spoilers but the concepts in the show, the history, and what impact they have had on society can often be fuzzy, so far. Some got answered and fleshed out more as the story progressed but I think some things could have been better spelled out.
Granted it's a mystery and that there is something to be said about dropping the viewer into waters and assuming that they can figure things out without spoonfeeding them information. Good writing tends to not underestimate the audience's intelligence. I get that and appreciate some aspects of how that plays out in the show but on others I do wish they had been a bit more clear.
Other than that though so far I am loving the show. It's very much what I wanted out of the SciFi/SyFy channel when they got into original programming lo' those many moons ag, but which has had only a handful of truly great or even good shows.
Who kidnapped Aziz and took over his hype account? Whoever it is... I like em.I hope he never gets banned. And I'll add that no one should badmouth the man (or anyone else, to be honest), he deserves respect.
It would really be too quiet around here with no Reek.![]()
You'd be amazed what we trade back and forth.![]()
