Happy birthday, Supes. You don't look a day over 30. :hrt:

Nice. :D

If your universe kept rebooting every few years then you'd be a lot younger too.

I just sell my marriage to the devil when I want a continuity change. Less messy.

Yes... I'm still bitter.

I would love to be rebuilt. I'm old. :p

Do we feel it? Like are we going to be ripped apart down to every molecule and then rebuilt or hows this work?

Dark City style. Pale men in black rearrange the world and give us new identities and memories.

Yeah, me too.

I had that book. I've read that book. Superman Santa gunning down twin cloned Hitlers then committing suicide was a bad idea from the start.

It'll vary from time to time. Sometimes you get shunted into the new universe as the same person but forget your entire life before. You might have never existed at all and your biggest personality trait would be part of a 'hip new' sort of you. You could also get the best version where you become younger, smarter and sexier while gaining all sorts of new abilities and/or powers.

Or you could be killed off horribly just before the end then forgotten about by everyone.

Roll of the dice really.

Goku's birthday was 2 days ago... Goku > Superman

That rap battle actually gave me the inspiration for one of the big battle scenes in a future book. :D

Character A having recently (as in maybe an hour earlier) acquired super powers that he has no idea how to use and are quickly killing him vs Character B who is a lifelong Supervillain with similar powers and decades of experience using them.

I have it all planned out but it's several books away from where I am now.

Eh, call me if anyone knows who Goku is 50 years from now.

Well... in the last 34 years... Goku has had good movies, tv shows, and games.

So call me when Superman actually has a good anything in the next 50 years... or the last 34 years...

The Animated Series is MEH by the way.

They probably will, given that he's over 30 years old and his franchise is the most profitable manga/anime in history and still going strong. He's going to be one of the mascots at the next Olympics too.

in japan goku is just as recognizable as godzilla himself.

BTAS was far superior. Some of those episodes bring a tear to my eye to this day. The end of Heart of Ice or Mudslide are amazing.

Speaking of Clayface in BTAS, did you guys know Ron Perlman voiced him?

.... what does batman have to do with goku v superman?

and to call it far superior than say... the Frieza saga.... lol ima slap yo mama too

You were talking about Superman TAS.

Keep your head in the game, Reefer.

Supes has had great comics, good animated series and actual decently-made and popular forays into live-action, unlike Goku. The sheer amount of media he's had ensures that some of them will suck (and don't even pretend that doesn't apply to Goku too), but his symbol is one of the most-recognizable in the world, and what it represents crosses language and cultural barriers all over the world. Only reason I know who Goku is is because my brother went through an anime phase that didn't last. If anyone outside of Japan and anime nerds knows who Goku is in 50 years, you can come say "I told you so." :oldrazz:

Goku was in a live action movie. :woot:

Which again... has nothing to do with Batman. Understand the game before you try to play it.

You hate Grant Morrison and don't stand for anything Superman stands for... So Ima slap yo mama too. and if i am alive in 50 years... Ill be slappin yo mama again

Superman is above mama-slappin, so I shall be too.

Also, I love Grant Morrison. It's KRYPTON who hates him. Though I think "hate" is a strong word...he's just not a big fan.

Ima slap his mama too! someone get my baby powder we got a slapfest in the making
