I find the best conversations happen when you limit input to just one person.

You know, most of these building are what we call "fictional".

No way. Everything is based on real life. That's why Batman isn't allowed to do anything that might be even loosely exaggerated.

Like have a guy fall in front of a train?

Batman's allowed to do lots of ridiculous things, stupid. He's DC. Only Marvel is completely based on real life. :whatever:

Have a guy fall in front of a train, or punch him in front a train and just watch?

Really its the same thing.

ANd slightly back on topic, Avengers Mansion is usually depicted somehwere close to Central park.

you are good to prank me but you dont even take time to read the article

The Frick Collection's building was the inspiration for Avengers Mansion, which like the Frick covers the entire city block at the corner of Fifth Avenue and East 70th Street (albeit with the address of 890 Fifth Avenue).

Why bring this up again in a completely unrelated thread?

the real house location of doc strange The mansion where Dr. Strange lives, his Sanctum Sanctorum, is located at 177A Bleecker Street, Greenwich Village, New York City, New York, which was the actual address of the apartment building in which the writer of the series lived at the time the story was published.

That's actually kind of cool. I hope a comic fan buys it one day and puts in that awesome window on the top floor.

Really awesome thread, pifpaf. And not being a native of New York, I never realised that the addresses of the landmarks mentioned in the Marvel Universe actually corespond to buildings in the real world. I mean, I never knew there's actually a mansion at where the Avenger's Mansion is suppose to be in the MU.

Nice find.
