I'm glad they're apparently trying to look for a good storyline first instead of just confirming the thing right away.

Really, really liked this movie.

Just watched this again as it was on TV, still great, I really hope we get a sequel to this one day. Really surprised Levy hasn't gone on from this to do bigger movies also.

Isn't it weird that, with most genre movies, they'll rush out to do a sequel two years later but then nothing happens with certain movies like Real Steel. Is it studio politics? Merch problems?

It is bizarre, Levy did say not so long ago they want to find the right story before moving ahead, but I am surprised the studio seems so lax about it.

Yeah, in most cases, studios wouldn't be as easy going about making into a franchise. So weird.

"Sure, let's not rush it" isn't a normal studio MO.

Finally some follow up news, and with it being D+ should get a decent sized budget also.
