Does anyone think that the whole show is a set up? The producers hire these people and pay them to go out there and make situations, act a certain someway and interact in a certain manner. Sometimes it all seems so fixed and planned. These people who go on the show do things that I am sure their families and friends would be totally embarassed by, unless it was all part of a script. Maybe everyone gets a paycheck and a chance to appear on another reality show. Maybe these people are all woud be actors.

By the way, can we have an extra subcategory or section under SHH! Community called Reality Shows or TV shows? because I'm hooked on Paradise Hotel like fish on bait.

If you're a struggling actor/actress chances are you've been on a reality show, or more than one. Because I'd see the same people on shows like this, particularly the dating shows. Hell, sometimes they'd have pornstars on the dating shows.

But they'll take anybody, as long as they're not "normal". You've got to be fame****ish to the fullest, all you have to do is tell those producers you want to be famous. And MTV is the most guilty of them all.

The only one I like is Dragons Den.

I noticed a major difference in the American version and British Version of Ramsey's Kitchen nightmares, you guys have a more sensationalized version with irritating music and an anoying narrator who explains things like you are too stupid to figure it out for yourself. There eating joints seem to get free makeovers as a reward for being inadaqute rather than him giving them guidance.
