Take a look at the pics, but they are heartbreaking for a hundred or so of us. During October for the past 9 years of my life, this place is my life, and I hope it still will be in years to come. I've met so many awesome people, learned so much I never would have learned if not for out there. I have so many crazy stories, so many great stories from the place. We were supposed to open for 3 days in March for "Scream Break". Sorry if I'm rambling, but watching this happen is awful.MELBER, Ky. Talon Falls, a Halloween attraction in Melber, Kentucky, is on fire. Crews from several departments are responding.
The fire started sometime before 8 p.m. Wednesday. The fire is contained but is covering roughly two acres at this time.
Jamey Locke, director of Graves County Emergency Management, warns the public not to approach the area.
Talon falls planned to open March 4-5 for an event called "Scream Break".
It moved in 2009 from Highland Church Road in McCracken County to its present location.
The park draws thousands of people each night during the month of October.
Local 6 has a crew on the scene and will bring you more on this story as it develops.
Thanks to viewers Chad Conder and Wendy Farmer for their photos.
