Um...What? Life IS HD, isn't it. Only a million times more powerful, more vibrant! (Hulk reference)
not for me. My eyes suck.

I'm torn with that one. Part of me thinks it cool, while the other part slightly winces. That, coupled with Rorschach running up the side of some weird platform (in the rain, no less) makes me think they are making him the film's bad-ass. I always imagined Rorschach to be a bit more rough-and-tumble, a bit more gritty and improvisational...but pathetic at the same time, you know what I mean?
Care to elaborate?Doc Manhattan is also floating above that shot where the leaves are falling. This sort of confirms the Alex Tse ending of the Doc Manhattan frame.
I think the implication is that this is when Dr. Manhattan is "seen" destroying cities. I doubt it, though. I don't believe he'll be "seen" at all.
agreed, plus teasers don't often show a large amount of dialog, generally speaking of courseKeep in mind that these are still teasers. A trailer should show dialogue and a hint of the story, and we're still about 5 months away until release.
yeah I saw that too, and those sphinxes with weird(ram?) heads that can be seen in the karnak zoom backJust noticed this in the footage:

I agree. However, on Rorschach being somewhat pathetic, well, I never got the impression that he was supposed to be. Kovacs, sure, but never Rorschach. The impression I always got with Rorschach was that he was absolutely an extremely capable person. He took the work more seriously than anyone; it seemed obvious to me that his obsessive and methodical nature would extend to physical training. What's more, Rorschach was one of the few (the others being Comedian and Ozymandias) not portrayed as being a joke while in costume. Of the heroes--most of whom were painted as people playing dress-up--he really seemed the least pathetic of all (except as Kovacs, where of course he was the most pathetic).I know what you mean, but I'll tell you what I told people who *****ed about Rorschach fighting the cops when he's taken down in earlier (and probably this one) drafts. This is a man who helped Nite Owl take down Underboss and his minions. Who has battled crime. A man the underworld fears because of his penchant for violence, who is obviously a capable vigilante, and no slouch in the physicality department (You think climbing that wall with a grappling hook is easy?). I don't mind him having some physical ability. He wouldn't have survived in the world of WATCHMEN if he didn't. He can still be pathetic on some level.

I didn't want to do it, but he made me. It's tacky to pick on someone for their avvy, but the second he goes after that amazing f***ing trailer when he's been repping that piece of crap movie, I cant ignore it.
Strangely enough, Rorschach didn't really have much of a costume, other than the mask---which was made from a woman's dress. And even though he wore a fedora, coat, and suit, he never washed the damned thing and stank to high heaven. I know he's seen as one of the coolest characters in the book, and I do like some of his qualities (his taking on Big Figure's goons was excellent), but I can't help but feel sorry for him most of the time.
