I'm sure you're all aware that FOX is screwing the pooch with this franchise SO much. Personally I think that if they ever want to get real money from this, they need to hit the "restart" button and reboot it. Or sell to Marvel, God willing. But either way, how would they restart this?

I think starting with the original team line-up would work pretty well. I've always wanted to see that. That in mind, the GA would be totally pissed because Wolvie wouldn't be with them. Simple fix: If they sell to Marvel, Wolverine should appear the classic way, as SHIELD's next attempt to take down The Hulk. Possibly include some mention in a Cap movie. Thoughts everyone? On recasting? Plot?

I agree on the reboot thing, even though I enjoyed the movies well enough. I am not a fan of the original 5, though, so I am not personally keen on that idea, although I am sure it could be done well and I would love it.

If I could choose, I would like the Claremont/Lee area team(s)-for me it had some great characters and personalities. I would like to see Gambit as the newbie this time around, instead of Wolverine.

Or else do a live action of Whedon's Astonishing X Men, which I love, though ironically, had none of my favorites in the line-up.

Basically, as long as it's true to the characters and the concept of the X Men, I'm happy! Singer did a good job with some of the characters, but really missed on others!

I treasure this movie franchise so much and I don't want a reboot anytime soon! They should make a X-Men 4, 5, 6 first!

eh they kinda screwed it ove by killing scott imo and really forgetting the family aspect among the needless deaths. I think a reboot with a focus more on a ensamble would be a great idea. But wont happen with fox.

If they do X4 directed by Singer, Ill be happy for the rest of my life.

So after that, they can do whatever they want.

I just need X4 with Singer.

NO REBOOT! It looks like Fox finally learned their lesson with XMOW and are getting their rears back in gear. Wolverine was bad, but it was not bad enough to break the franchise. It's pretty much been dropped from continuity at this point as we can see pretty clearly by First Class and the direction they're supposedly taking with The Wolverine and Deadpool (ignoring XMOW). I am looking forward to X-Men 4, and even if they don't have all of the original cast back I would be pumped to see the story continue. The X-Men universe is so big it would be a shame to see it trapped in a perpetual state of recycling itself.

i don't want singer directing an x-movie ever. he made a mess with first 2 movies.
